I think my veins Infected?

And today lasted. As long as yesterday's
Poison ran through me.
It got lost in the holes I made in my arteries
When I was young and still full of dreams.
Its bruised. Swollen. Sore.
But it hurts, much less than withdrawal.
Cause that would certainly be tough
Being denied..from my first and only love.
