This Revenge Just Might Run Red...

Topic: AngryPoetry

Revenge
A silk rope lined with razor blades
Their physical needs
Is what brought them to their knees

A fierce monster now trapped in a cage
Like a tiny bird
His calls never left her
His calls overwhelmed her
Hate laced his every word

It was a plot
He whispered to his friends
He told them to, "Get her!"
As he perched on his tiny swing
Inside his tiny cage
She cowered at his threats

Disgust is the poison upon these lips
Take one taste and you can never forget

It was a hunt
They were the party
She was the hunted
Beware
Lions on the prowl tonight
Children, sleep with your teddy bears next to your heart..

Innocent lives have been hurt
Those who stood in their way
Shot down
Defeated
Raped

She was found
They found her
Took her in iron grips
Let's bring on the circus!
Forcefully she is made a fool of
Shamefully she can't win this fight
They got her
They got her again
Those *******'s

Shock waves of anger
Running through my veins
Or is it just a chill?
A knife to the gut
Give her a break!

Don't look now, but
Our own revenge is coming over
The choice is hers
Life or death?
Their lives dangle at the end of a thread
One phone call away...
These streets could be crimson tonight...

The questions she must answer...
Dreadful at all angles
Could you live with blood stained hands?
Could you live with their constant torture?
Could you live with them at your doorstep?
Could you live....
Would they let you survive?

Now their own blood could be shed
The heart inside me wants to murder them cold
The human inside me wants to let them live
Even with their sins
Though the choice is hers

What will she choose?
