Need I Suffer.

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Exit me
Set me free
Please let this love escape me
Let it no longer rape me
Let it fade away
Need I suffer
Need I strive
Need I bleed just to know I'm alive
Sedate me
Medicate me
Knife in my chest
Bullets in my brain to put the memories to rest
I can't explain
The amount of pain I contain
It's insane
It goes on and on
Makes me wish I was dead and gone
Instead I'm trapped
Lost in the illusion
A victim of confusion
An addict trapped inside a world of static
And every vision is a blur except when I'm looking at her
She's a devil in disguise
She's got hatred in her eyes
Spitting commands
Holding my broken heart inside her hands
Crying as I lay dying
I'm tearing myself apart
Every attempt to get her out of my heart
Numbing every emotion as I murder my own devotion
Pleading with the sky
On hands and knees begging this love to die
I wish I never met her
I'd give anything just to forget her
I regret the day I let her in
Peel me away from this skin
Break me from the evil that once held me together
Sever the cords of forever
Exit me
Set me free...
Please just let this love escape me.
