He would make his fingers into a gun
the way kids do when playing
Cowboys and Indians,
then all day go around shooting people
for any infractions of what he considered
to be the right and decent way of doing things
from simple traffic violations
changing lanes with out signaling
to excessive horn blowing..
Common sense manners
such as holding doors for people behind you
giving up your seat to an senior citizen,
to covering ones face when sneezing in public.
Okay, sure he snapped
but he was killing an awful lot of
rotten bastard’s that deserved to die.

Well, I found the humour - maybe social commentary would have been a more fitting category so some readers wouldn't be confused.
Well balanced, engrossing and not a word out of place. The last two lines were the kicker, of course. Bring on the Crazy Joes and their 'hand guns'!
