Rainbow Warrior
I see you standing
In the light
Upon Jah's mountain
Strong in the fight.
Arms outstretched
A sun-God gold
Sweet gentle loving heart
Yet strong and bold.
Beautiful face carved
From ivory pure
No matter what will come
Your belief in unity will endure.
You have led your people
Carried banner sure and swift
The voice which Jah has given you
Has been your wonderous gift.
Standing on the threshold
Of new future bright
New world soon come
Unflinchingly face the fight.
You are no coward
That we have seen
You've had the courage to stand and fight
Against the political machine.
The leader that we have so long needed
Carried out battle plan
Yourself to the people you have proven
Beautiful Rainbow Man.
Inspired by Quino McWhinney
Of Big Mountain.
Your strength and leadership
Has inspired me to write this.
