The station is bare
The railings are cold
Whose hand touched them last,
And where did they go?
The metro is gone
Through a tunnel of black
My things I gather
And emerge from the tracks
The streets have turned empty
The lamp lights are turned off
The trees are all grey
And all the shops are boarded up
Curtains are closed and
Fog hides the sky
Is there anyone still here,
Did I miss the goodbye?
Ancient homes line streets
Their windows feel like eyes
No children are laughing
Did they all grow up or did they hide?
The old school is abandoned
The merry-go-round is rust
I hear whispers from the field
Nothing is there when I turn to look
Inside the school
Halls are filled with chairs
Where is my desk, I wonder,
Who was the last to sit there?
Colorful pictures still cover the walls
A police officer, doctor, a monster
But who..- A siren sounds, am I awake?
All of a sudden
I cannot hear my words
I cannot feel my face
