In the scarred words of true disbelief,
I find subliminal curses that scream the truth.
A memory is saved by drowning it in tears,
But blend it in blood, and it will be gone forever.
"Was he ever alive?", she asked.
I believed in the reflections in my broken mirror.
I believed in the screeching sounds on my dirty window.
I felt my shell break when you entered my mind,
We rescued each other from the rising rain.
"He was born from a wish", I answered.
You saw me unveiled in the dark.
You witnessed a false awakening.
Under frightening lights we kissed,
Like a twisted joke, I changed.
"Only he died", he said.
