Drowning in a sea of despair,
I just want to get away.
I really wish I just didn't care,
I just want to get away.

The calmest waters lie beyond the tides of hate,
The calm before the storm has brought me to this fate.

I just wish I could float,
In empty space, a faint embrace.
I just wish I could float,
Be carried far, far from this place.

I don't want to feel anymore,
I don't want to think.
I don't need any of these sores,
Casting me off to the Klink.

I don't need this stuff,
I don't need to feel seen.
I just can't take it,
I can't take what I have been.

I'm too weak to fight,
Too weak to care.
All I feel at the sight,
Of you standing there:

I just want to float.

not having a single care

I don't know just a couple of lines I thought of when I read this but anyway great write I liked how you made it flow real nicely
