Sometimes I read Bukowski
to get my juices flowing.
Most times for some reason,
he has that effect on me.

Though there are times
I admit.
I’d be willing to pound
nails into Christ,
if that’s what it takes.

This poetry writing
isn’t a walk in the park
as some might think.
