Black man come to power

Contributed by Voice of the Silent on Saturday, 24th January 2009 @ 11:06:39 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

let me go ahead and say this I am not racist I do not hate Obama I don't care who won the election to me it's just another poem you will forget about in the next hour or at least in four year whichever

Black man come to power
Is this America's final hour?
He promised change
but will it all just be pain
what will happen during Obama's rain

what will he do
what will we the people go through
will it be a living hell
will America be a continental cell

He now has the power
how will it be used
will this be America's final hour
will the power be abused

Interesting read
I give you credit for posting it.
A subject that hasn’t hit my muse yet.
Guess she’s waiting for the honeymoon to be over........

I am not extremist nor completely balanced, I am just a girl. . . but sincerely,
I've not felt so confident in a leader in my adult life, therefore. . . my inner sense tells me to have faith,
be hopeful, stay positive, contribute often, listen well & love my fellow man. peace always. elle

I think he will do his best, the man has a ton on his plate and things will not change overnight, so I answered the questions in this thought producing write.......

Hugs
Michelle

Well girl, you did a great job with this. I'm sure everyone wonders at times. I know I certainly do.
I thinks that's a pretty good write cause again we all wonder at times.
Big huggs, luv, smiles, blessings,
emy

I think that we should ask ourselves these things for every president. I'm not sure of the relevance of Obama being half black or black or whatever one may call him.

This is an interesting read but I am positive that Mr Obama is going to do a hell of a lot better job than Bush. just have a little hope. If he doesn't fullfill his promise then you can say I told you so!
