Wandering souls

A wandering soul, bag in tow
somewhere different each week.
Big wheels roll, engine roar,
always wind beneath the feet.
Same as the poet that lies dormant
somewhere within this heart.
Flitter flutter all about
but words to pages are worn.
Perplexing when you are caught
so tightly in another's web,
such as this big truck, such as the poet
no sense of nonsense misread.

Ah, the weavings of the restless mind of a trucking poet. Very nice. :-) |
