The Sounds of Life.

Topic: NaturePoetry

But when what needs to be done and what you say is needed to be said.
Where will you rest that weary head.
Under the star dusted sky, where the angels will cry.
They heavens will fall, and the stars will crash on the earth.
All for you.
And I bet you miss your sleep.
Putting yours trust in the humanities of a faith past gone.
So when it all falls apart don’t worry.
The brilliance of your dispersing thoughts.
Drift across the plains of the eternal mind.

I'll lie down and you can examine the words I blow in smoke.
Watch as I steal a word from him and her.
Put them in a safe and let the romantics use them for their own good.
Let life string you along.
I'll count clouds as they fall upon the changing horizons.
Watch the towers go up, and the towers go down.
Pace of life pushing me as I go.
Let the rhythm of your body move you.

Let the drums roll out the terrain for you to pace on.
To see how things are formed and the smoke rings become a quote in a book no one will ever read.
Id rather be a ghost then be here, hide and come as the world is changing.
Falling and plunging into a climax of noise and drums.
The bass in the background of this musical we call destruction.
Let life string you along like the puppets we are.
As the heavens open down and the rain hits you like divine intervention.
Bringing you to your senses healing you and freeing your mind.
The earth is a big place and yet you wont leave this town.

Traffic lights are made for machines.
Signs are made to be read not to be followed.
The deserts and the jungles don’t need rules.
The new sounds of life open to what you want.
Bringing forth a sense of child like innocence.
To the worn down urban body.
Governing what you want.
The grass under your feet.
Rejuvenating as you learn more about you and this world.
Nature is your judge.
Now go talk with her.

I loved this write and your little note at the top said so much too, how true it is. Though I do not find myself scared of a country setting, I am in an 18 wheeler so I never know from one moment to the next where I will be. Right now stuck in a big city which I am so tired of by now....... Anyway you captured many thoughts and feelings in this write a true delight to read. The ending is awesome!

Very ingeniously done. A very active mind you have and I found this quite enjoyable to read. A tad ambiguous, so I'm not sure I understood it all but I still like it.

Take care,

Tim
