I try to ignore it
But it just breaks through
I want to stop so bad
but I can't quit liking you.
I need to accept
I'll never hold you dear
So I admit, honestly,
I wish you weren't here.
I have to see you everyday
and it hurts because there is no way
you'll ever notice me.
I don't understand
why you don't see,
Here I am, all alone
going through life on my own.
I wish you weren't here.
You walk with her all the time,
while I watch, wishing you could be mine.
I saw a falling star in the sky,
and wished a wish that should die.
I wished for you to be my prom date
But now I fear it is too late.
I told you once you were safe
and you asked me why.
I said I didn't like you,
but I lied.
I think I might love you
I need you near,
I really hope I don't
I wish you weren't here.
