Maui’i Rainbows
In the distance…
A melancholic reflection of
The setting sun
Burning
Liquid blush…
Of some Eternal Bride
Mirrored image
Limpid pools of ‘Kohl’ eyes
Tell tales of
Imaginary friends…
Assurances that were deep
Unfathomable as the night
Wafting desires of ‘Pikake`’ breeze
And the rain soaked earth
Inflicting
Flames of passion
Lingering warmth,
Tender embraces
…another story of
Apparent illusions…
Turquoise ripples, ‘Maui’i’ dreams
Sends Rainbow Songs of afar they bring
In my heart…the dismal depths of my Soul
They hang as inky clouds… the Monsoon Rain
Gem like moments…‘Ginger Leis’, A sip of wine
Of eloquence…Trade winds…
And then the
Agonizing, stupor of the night…
Announces…Your exit from
the stage of another world…

you have a beautiful writing style. your poetry really is a joy to read. you don't want to be 'just another poet', you want to stand out, and that is great. this write was vivid and fluid, great work.
