O my love, hold me in your warm embrace,
Let me keep that smile on your face.
As the sun sets and rises up
You'll be the one I"m think of.
I dream of you all night and day,
I love you more than words can ever say.
Others broke, what you did mend.
I fell in love, with my best friend.
I'll show you more than words ever could.
Thank you for giving me a new attitude.
Hold me, as the tears run down my face,
Only through your arms will I be granted grace.
You take all fear and set it free
With you, I know what love can really be.
God sent me you from up above,
You are my one and only love.

| I can't help but think that the comment next to mine is David =). Anyways, i really liked this poem. The best poems are the ones that are experienced and this one i very much enjoyed... I know it was for David, but I liked it also =) |
