Just like a flower
We go through stages
And like a book
We have many pages
So lets make history
Write a classic
I'll even let you choose
The topic of your pick
So what is our story about
You tell me
Just let us never fade
Into eternity
If you ever left me
I would be so lost
I would fight for you to get you back
No matter the cost
So please just don't hate who I am
Give me a rose and start our plan
Let's write history for everyone to see
Because I know we can
I want you near
Not so far away
So come here for awhile
And stay
Take a hold of me
Hold me close and tenderly
Never set me free
Let me be your secret key
For I give you my heart and soul
And would die for you in the blink of an eye
You are my world and without you
I would wither and die
I want you more and more
Each and every day
So lets do this
What do you say?
Let this be our love story
Flower and book
One that no one
Can ever overlook

very nice indeed. it is reminiscent of my style orf writing i think, but you are more direct in your communication, which makes this punchier than my writes. very good.

I very much enjoyed your poem. The metaphor of life being a flower or book was really nice. The first and last stanzas were the best of the poem I think. I don't know how you could have made them any better. I also liked the 2nd line of the 5th stanza and the last line of the 7th stanza. They evoke images that are nice. Good job.
