She found Jesus in some
downtown Spanish store front church.
Cleaned herself of that three bag a day habit.
Now goes house to house ringing door bells
trying to save them that answer.
You know, becoming a different kind of
general nuisance.
Anyway, better then not knowing when
it was coming down.
The credit card snatch, TV disappearance,
pension check missing nightmares
she’d brought with her.
If you were foolish enough to have
any type of dealings with her.
Now the worst you have to look forward to
when you can’t duck her,
is that obligatory lecture on.
'Why you’re not going to heaven and she;
well is going as long as,
God leans to the left, the way everyone
is so damn positive he does.

This poem is quite entertaining as we come across such Lindas in the society...
Dear poet..I read your earlier poem also..though it is purely humorous I felt that
you are very harsh in using your tongue against your parents..
But any way it is hilarious. Best of luck.:-)
