Sundowns a' comin'
Its six o'clock Texas time
Bury the faceless in boothill quick lime.
Do you know where your leader of the free world is?
Japing for the vote & juggling for the mans kids.
Its power on the box
Ratings buster, fulfil-a-buster
Blister and pox. Its a war on the poor.
Keep your 30 ought six by the door.
It'll be niggers if your so inclined,
Wetbacks most of the time.
It'll be born agains & raging wild boars,
But always welcome the woe forgotten whores.
Ostrasized, Globalised
Then scandalised and vandalised.
The marginalised, the terrorised,
May almighty Mammon comfort us.
Beyond the border
New rules, new orders. Few here
Pause for the siezed and examined
Sickness, sorrow, famine.
Fortress Utopia is our
Selfish cities myopia.
( The decadent and the defenceless, first past the post modernity ).

A raw and powerful write, I enjoyed it.
The only thing I had hard time with is nigger and wetback but it is your poem. I wont let the two words take away from the rest of it for me.
Have a great day,
Michelle |
