Longing for Seattle

Shining down on your face, so sighs the crescent moon
Under the crimson dotted sky, the evening currents leave, hearts gone too soon.
An Albatross sails through the clouds, through the mist and rain
Gracefully majestic in flight, it holds a hidden pain.
Sunshine and rainbow dreams carry on through the night
Longing for the wind that keeps its weary wings in flight
Bright lights converge, red in the morning, blue in the evening
Directing the path drawn, hope in its meaning
The changing tides, the passing of days
Time envelopes us all, as it slowly drifts away.
Through islands and inlets, sleet and hail
The seasons turn, the boats in summers tide sail
Cry with me under the twilight, smile with me when it is bright
Wish me all the best, as I sing you a lullaby tonight.
