If only you loved me, too

She's nothing like me
But we're practically the same
Our ways of thinking seem to change
My love for her grows every day
Kid, you know she's too good for you
Young and in love
A poison to the soul
Girl, she didn't mean for you to fall in love
She never promised to love you, too
A tear for a wounded soul?
She was everything that I needed
Worse than any drug
I aimed for her love
Bleeding roses
Her blood a fragile red
She was a broken angel
Not to try would be a crime
Don't shadow yourself with shame
She doesn't love me
Not how I love her
She never will
So why do I proceed?
Because you believe
Her and I will never be
To only be her friend...
What about when I give her the world?
You know she kills me
So let her be
I made a promise of
No abandonment
She will be the death of me
