Misplaced Tears.

Contributed by Bleedthelove on Saturday, 10th January 2009 @ 10:28:59 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Put your hand on my chest
I've got nothing inside
Nothing but an empty shell
Like the bullet casing from a lonely suicide
A million free falling tears
Each one reflecting your face as it slowly disappears
Capturing the moment you ran away and left me here
And I've never moved from this vacant place
I've never wiped off your lipstick from the goodbye kiss you left on my face
Idle I stand with my broken heart in my hand
Lost in the confusion
Swimming in the ocean of your regret
I'm manipulated by my own ability to forget
Carving poems into my wrists so the emotions will exist
Just as I burned your last words into each of my fists
"Goodbye love"...you whispered as I hit the ground
And the shattered remnants of who I used to be can no longer be found
My silent cries fall upon deafend ears
While my vacant eyes breed misplaced tears
I've become a ghost to the one who matters the most
A forgotten memory
And though I miss you...
The one I miss most...is me.

Sad but awesome writing.
Just pull your self up by your boot straps and go forward.
I know how it feels to be left alone with nothing but agony, while the other gets off scott free with no pain.
keep up the great work and Put yourself first for a good change.
big huggs, luv, blessings,
emy
