Softness of Harsh

Billows of feather’s cascaded down from Heavens windows.
Dusting cactus tine, sage brush and sand.
Wilds of the desert softly turned, into a winter wonderland.
A veil of azure opened up above the sand and stone.
Cold breath of wind turned the feather snow into ice crystals,
frozen within times final moment beneath the suns glow.
Gazing across the vastness of this desert I know so well.
The unforgiving heat and dry wind it is hard to tell just now.
From summer time and fires breath, transformed before my eyes.
Abandoned lands to friend or foe, the strangling dusty air.
Now a gorgeous view of another time, winters white dusted hue.
I smile to myself at the sight of it, indeed this moment here is rare.

Oh Michelle, these exquisite words can not but be a confirmation of the possibility of transformation at any moment in time.
