Lifepoems

Life becomes distorted when viewing with inner eyes.
Reality is the essence of our deepest desires.
True happiness is weighed by the standards of humanity.
So lost is the soul in this sea of calamity!
With blinders we prevail moving forth with all consciousness.
Is not each person responsible for their own well-being?
Can one live the life of another satisfied with all sacrifice?
Or, does time and duty form resentment and regret?
Can we truly be happy providing for the needs of others?
Is the magnificence of love enough to conquer all obstacles?
Only the mirror can answer the hard questions of life.
Yet the world persists in war!
The little children are sick and go to bed hungry.
The wisdom of the elderly is brushed aside and they are cast away into loneliness.
The youth have no foundation or hope for a better world.
Indifference has always been the enemy at the gates.
Ignorance will always be the fuel that fires hate.
So, what hope is there for this tiny pebble in the universe?
Whatever you believe true.
Exercise all things that are good.
For a little kindness will make all the difference in someone's life.
