I'm going home

Topic: dedicatedpoems

A friend called me and said my dad is in the hospital,
she said they don't think he will make it,
9:30 a message came in ,,craig he died,

we lose the ones we love the most,
not be choice,
we never really say what we want,
till it's to late,
a tear is shed and hearts broken,
embraced by family members was all there was,
he see's the family,
as they stand around the bed,
he say's I'm sorry for leaveing you this way,
but the pain is gone,
and i feel fine, please happy for me,
but my time was up to go home,,
as the tears fall from there eye's,
he wants to wipe them dry,
but can"t
he hears the voice's from the past calling out to him,
he kisses his wife once again and say's to her.
I love you always,
and i will see you soon,
he looks at his family and said cry no more,
for I'm going home,

craig s. meeks

This is sad and brings tears but it's also beautifull as it takes away some the sting of death.
God bless you for the comfort you give in their time of sorrow.
Blessings, huggs, and Happy New year,
emy
May God give them and you the peace that passeth all Earthly understanding.

Very good, almost brings a tear to me... really. One day, I will go home and when we all do, we will rejoice! I will see you all one day, maybe not tommorrow, but one day... good job =P.
