Goodbye, Best Friend

Contributed by Hoping_To_Be_Me on Saturday, 22nd March 2003 @ 06:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

If I told you what you meant to me,
would you listen?
would you care?
would you answer me?
Or leave.
Would you walk away as if you never knew me?
Am I that worthless?
Am I not good enough for you?
Are you listening?
Do meaningless words come out of my mouth?
Do I know you anymore?
Do you remember me?
DoI portrat nothing in your eyes?
Or something.

Do you care?
No.
I'm a stranger to you.
You're a stranger to me.
Goodbye, best friend.
