I'm on the loose
Just me, myself and I
With no one to hold on to
and with no one to hold on to me
I'm free
But since this is what I choose to be
they all stop and see
How can they tell
Cuz now they're flockin' from everywhere
and blowin' up my cell
I'll admit, it's hard to resist
The way they keep comin' at me relentless
But their relentlessness is the equivalent
of wasted time spent
Spent on a lopesided relationship that wasn't meant
A failed attempt
"I"m not like them"
turned out to have the same meaning of the words
"I'm exactly like them...later"
I wish I'd actually heard
the first time he said those words
But now I'm loose and free
His memory is nothing to me
However, I did learn a lesson
Guys are nobody
I've never let them make me
and because of that, I'm free
I'm on the loose
because I choose to be
