the Only Way I Can Say What I Feel (Letting Go)

Contributed by anomalei on Saturday, 27th December 2008 @ 02:32:07 PM in AEST
Topic: secrets

Precise lines in untidy writing
Dying to say, all these words
Hoping you read this right

Even though you're gone
The songs still hold the memory
So longingly

You're better at this then I'll ever be
I was better with you,
You're gone.

I'll always be the hopeless girl
Unfailingly
Hoping for the impossible.

I'll hold onto fragments
Until they shatter to dust
So quick, you left me reeling

I don't trust myself -
How can I trust anyone else,
With me?

these two lines are so powerful...

"...I'll hold onto fragments
Until they shatter to dust..."

that is exactly what we all do when we lose something so important. great work here. really great work.

Emotional flow,
I know you wanted to write a whole lot more then you did...
well done.
