Have Yourself...

Have yourself a fine holiday
Let your heels sink dry and low
Have yourself some needed repose
And hibernate through snow
Have yourself a plush fire
And leave your bed asunder
Have yourself a cup of cocoa
And eye your sparkling plunder
Have yourself a heap of gifts
Amassed in tinted foil
Have there be no familial rifts
For all your wrapping toil
Let there be a mirthful reminder
Have yourself a decadent wreath
May shopping see you a finder
Let not your relatives bequeath
Have yourself not a moment alone
Unless in the works of surprise
Have yourself not a moment dull
When it’s hard to feast your eyes
Have yourself a busy schedule
Full of play dates like a child
Go sledding, roasting, caroling
Let not your voice be mild
