How can war ever be right?

Politicians vote from the haven of parliament
But how can we all stand idly by?
While thousands die
And children cry
How can war ever be right?
The generals peer out from their bunker positions
Sending out orders to maim and to kill.
The sky is still,
Death has its fill.
How can war ever be right?
But the fighting will be short and quick,
And precision weapons will be employed
Forces buoyed
Killing enjoyed?
How can war ever be right?
While leaders meet to discuss their plans
For the reconstruction of Iraq
Some don’t come back!
White fades to black,
How can war ever be right?
Follow my leader to world domination
With “Axis of Evil” as a pretext,
Muscles are flexed
Who is next?
How can murder ever be right?

This is really morbid, but I like it. I like how everything is described so well. There is lots of pain in this poem |

those who will play murder will have us beleive in their twisted agendas and have us play their little games and shed blood in lots of different ways.
those who are IN the WAR ARE the WAR. |
