Death is every day to me
Seeing you hold his hand

Even speaking his name
Makes my heart stop

And you don't even know
Because i'm no one

Invisible even
Just another face in the crowd

A broken road in your life
Once filled with hopes and dreams

Now deserted
Never to be seen again

I am the hurt
I swore to protect you from

And you hate me for it
