Sound Proof Noise

This boy who fights through out the day
Who ponders all the disarray
And finds no hope in people’s words
And finds no place in their concerns
His feelings are strong, but thoughts indifferent
The beast’s attacks are too persistent
Questions of why, his thoughts involve
They find no ear so they dissolve
Sits alone in great detest
Doubts that life is just a test
Feels his life is too complex
Uncertainty causes his distress
Holds back tears, his fears dismiss
Slowly now, he makes a fist
Punches through the sound proof noise
All the glass falls through the void

He’s now a man but still it stays
Poking him through out his days
Finding ways to torture his
His future now is looking grim
The sad part is the villain’s him
He buys some sleeping pills and gin
Imagines heaven’s pearly gates
The ecstasy of escaping fate
Sill he sits all by himself
Placing life up on a shelf
A trophy to some to him it’s different
He takes the pills he’s more resistant
With gin in hand he looks at it
Then smashes it and makes a fist
He punches through the noise again
Decides this will not be the end

He takes a look at what he’s done
And feels like he just has to run
But stops himself he needs to fight
To hurt himself he has no right
He gets up slow to reassess
Decides to tackle all the stress
He leaves the room the way stands
He crawls onto the warm dry land
Broke free from the monster’s rage
Broke free from his mental cage
All he wants to do is heal
He burns the note he wrote in fear
From tears of joy his fears dismiss
Slowly now he makes a fist
And punches through the sound proof noise
And lets the glass fill in the void

superb poem. you've described school days so well. it was just a case of getting through each day, then go to bed, and keep repeating the process until it was over. although at times i was not as strong as you. your strength is testament to the will of the oppressed and the persecuted, to just keep going. keep writing.
