chameleon corner. . .
I choose a reckoning.
sighing prophet. . .
rattling chains.
I find myself with
crude assumptions.
sighing prophet. . .
with no gauge.
burdened only
with no restriction.
I hold myself
to lofty claim.
locked within
a womb of wanting. . .
locked in a stare
with my self change. . .
no cage. no flogging.
no lure. no offering.
just my colors
melt me lame.
melt to bleeding. . .
watercolor bleeding . . .
ending only
in tear rain.
I boast starting
& shirk ending,
shrinking. . . cringing. . .
apologizing
to my pain.
"have I worn you. . .
worn you out?
have I taken?
have I gained?
am I chosen?
. . . perhaps mistaken?
am I scarred. . .
likely insane?
I've no objection,
just this constant.
I die gently
to resistance.
self denial
unmasked, umblamed.
my resistance,
just it withers,
cold, dank stare
of midwifes' claim. . .

Ya know? I honestly have no idea where you're coming from on this but also some part of me seems to understand it. Even though I cannot explain it, it makes some sense. Like a mind racing with thoughts. Thing is, do I make sense? Unsettled and not knowing where to go, yet so creative, it is leaps and bounds above what any average person could understand. To me, your mind runs rampant with this astounding creativity. |
