In Faith

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Some great people have done great things...
with unswerving determination,
with courageous sacrifices,
with a heart of passionate zeal.
God bless them for their goodness.
What would we others be...
without these blessed Samaritans...
who give hope,..
inspire,...
and heal?

I've had noble aspirations, too.
I've had struggles against evils.
I've given wealth and self
to those near me that are hurting
to show them some light for their way.
But, my efforts brought me little.
Those where I've spent myself most
appear to continue in angry confusion.
They don't want what I have to give.
Their ears are shut to what I say.

God has whispered to me
to go on and not doubt the way.
There will be someone somewhere
who is hurting and reaching out
with whom I can share God's blessing
and discover what life is about.
