Sing To Me

Contributed by Loende on Friday, 12th December 2008 @ 07:38:55 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Sing to me, your lovely sanguine song.
Entwine yourself with me and mine,
where together we shall shine.
Fill me with the breath of life,
and gasp at death beside me.
Forever we shall dance upon the moon.
Rise above this mortal coil,
so we two may rule astride the dark.
Feared by all but answering to none.
Feel the heat that flairs between us
and recognize what no one else will own.
Know that I will be yours,
until time has come unraveled.
If all else is doomed to failure,
this I say to you and you alone;
My one and only love…
Sing to me.

Oooooo...too cool!!! You definitely got that "dark poetry" going on with this one! Me likes!!!!! Okay, so here's my opinion of things and this. There are some things that I just cannot read...or take (tolerate?). The writer goes too far or just writes some damn raunchy stuff. You don't do that here. This is excellent. You haven't crossed that line into disgust and have actually taken us on a voyage to the "dark side" with finesse. I applaud thee!!! That very first line grabs the reader and the rest doesn't let go. Captivating!

oh, this is gloriously beautiful. Like lovers across time and space. No boundaries, no limits, just a beautiful chorus of hearts entwined. I truly loved this. You captured so much more than emotion in this and for that, I thank you for sharing. One must know of love's deepest depth to write something this profoundly romantic. A lovely read.
