Things are always changing
The leaves on the trees in fall and spring
The weather as each season comes and goes
And people as the years go on
Some people change for the better
Some don't
Some have a choice and a say in how they change
Others are forced to change
And some don't even notice until its to late

A lot of truth in a small poem, but truth none the less. I liked it...maybe because these are words that I need to both say and hear. Thank you for posting it.

Change is indeed sad, but it is sometimes beautiful and is intergral to life in general.
You've captured the sad part very well here.

To capture so much with so few lines is amazing. The poem has truth and value. I know change can bring good and bad. At the moment it is bringing bad to my life, but the important thing to remember is that no matter what you are never alone.
