i buried you today
somewhere. forgot where.
don't take it personal,
we were always kinda hazy
and confused if
your smile was not
"battery operated" boy
i don't know what
HAPPY is
oh well
i thought. spoke to
your demon
today, down on
his knees, gazing
at me, like i was a Virgin
Mary or somethin,
and you said,
"by those graces,
what would make
you smile?"
i told you,
"if it rained today."
