Memory

Contributed by ktbugg on Friday, 21st March 2003 @ 05:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I woke to the reality
That my reality is a dream
And I couldn’t help but see
That it’s not all as it may seem

I stood up from my bed
As sun beams showered over my face
It’s the only warmth I have left
Since the loss of your embrace

I tried to get my mind
Out of the everlasting trance
But you parade around
In a hypnotic
Never-ending dance

I’m getting over you
With speed as a turtle crossing the sea
Continuing at this rate
Your memory will never let me free

Ahhh... why does the mind insist on racing .. yet the heart seems to trudge along?

You'll never forget, you just won't think about it as much.

Peace to you.
