Sing Harlot Song

Contributed by RitalinKid on Wednesday, 26th November 2008 @ 12:06:41 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

As steam condenses on the glass,
A stream of nonsense bleeds rapid and fast.
Stumbling bumbling home from a coated tall Bachanal.
My cigarette fingers need thrashing.
My lady, do you care to share the crashing?
I feign misty blindness to your profit bathed in kindness.

Awaken kindly to midnights' subtlety, a muffled scuffle.
You earned your precious steps through the loneliest coldest tunnel.

Advancing small feet.
To where the balding pigs meet.
You chop yourself up for a feast.
Walking home still on heavier feet.
A commodity, a greying weathered treat.

I breathe in church maple and polish and dust.
A breathe of which I am slight capable.
Red skins and a soul worth a crust.
Bring soda bread for Peter.
And strike Patrick down when he meets her.

Disfigured, decayed: The Unique lateral parade frowns down
over the sounds of a fading brown town.

Turning my back on this dry road, I pray my teary eyed journey
Has left me with solace. Not visions of pigs, fleas reverberating.
To the stable of people on a short bridge, now burning.
Shrink Shrink Fade Fade Fade.

Play eye games on this ill optical city.
Fading over this skyline of silos....My lady,
I leave shallow of pity.

My children are waiting for me to arrive.
My children are waiting for me.
My children are waiting.
My children are my children.

You wrote something rather interesting here.
I liked the way you wrote it and the style but I will admit I am a bit lost with the meaning of it.

Shoot me a pm and explain it if you would like.

Nicely done.

Happy Thanks Giving tomorrow

Hugs
Michelle
