one must let a mad find out for himself

Contributed by ferasdour on Monday, 24th November 2008 @ 05:04:38 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

reality is enclosure by force,
meaning as real as the source,
death befalls a man's dreams;
breaks him at the seems:
and yet, a birth, a life,
get's seen over hundreds of times,
for neither can be forgotten,
no man can live without mistaking dreams
nor making dreams last, to hope's death
rises from the mists of the seems,
breaks through the inevitable holes found within the web:
dreams are reality in disguise.

as the twisting, turning world,
all seems to be in ground,
a death by the hound to show the world in it's soul,
a life found not too far from home.
when life is finished, a world is through,
another level left to do,
but seen the past, look upon, for only death, with to be pawn,
looking back, a show, a night, a date, a scene;
i have seen:

i've seen the life,
i've seen the lies,
i've seen the bull***** in disguise;
i've seen the imbecile screaming out into the night
only to hear himself sing out at life,
i've seen darkness in the light,
and foolishness by design.

as though it seems no matter,
there is only one danger,
these thoughts that plague a good man's soul
should never be held uphold to see the life
drained from mankind.

the woman a fright,
startling sight as has been known before his time,
life it seems a thing of dreams
only to come crashing to the floor.

yet still,
go figure,
the thing to remember,
i life is life, a dream a dream;
a man a man, and seam unseen,
are all the ways to be expected on the floor.
a woman’s might is dangerous in spite the most rational of men.
power hungry, yet lent more power again and again.

no man can say, what shall happen from such creatures,
no man can say what another should do,
no man can demand his advice be taken,
or his wrath unshaken,
but in reality,
he's still dad.

He knows this life,
he's seen it brighter than the day's
most wonderful dream,
but still he must know,
even when it's not shown,
and his child's life like his own;
he can't stop the pain,
nor change things,
nor can he make a man forget, forgive, or stop his care,
yet through it all, he will still be dad.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
