Lay your head upon my chest
And hear my heart speak to yours…
“I want to be one with no other, no other… ever
Together, yet apart for a season
One we shall be someday as truth in all ways
The day, that day shall be ours”
“Come let me gaze into the eyes
That cause time to cease
Of green with such depth
Eire herself envies to scorn”
“A touch, a fragrance, a kiss
Fresh newness with each rising sun
A sun that burns less bright
Than you my love, rising in my soul”
Of a fact mo cuishle,
“Forged we are on destiny’s anvil
Purified love by trial’s fire
Polished through passion shared
Thus you shall ever be my heart’s desire”
“O thrill of my soul
Calm your anxious mind
And set in stone forever my love for you
That changes not but through strength’s increase”

Ah such a lovely thought, a lovely poem, well done
well crafted
if poems come with time attached.
then this one
comes with time entombed
set in stone.

OH MY GOSH... this is amazing verse. It is a testament to the knowing that comes with real love. You have captured a range of emotion and longing that few are able to. I love all of it, but the last stanza really made me smile. Job well, so very well, done.
Be well,
Loende |
