You never had to worry back in the day,
when old school mother-******* showed you the way.
This way of life isn't as easy as they would say,
it gets harder and harder with each passing day.
And don't think about walking away,
you never hear of those who went astray.
Don't fall asleep or get caught slipp'in,
or you might find yourself one day tripp'in.
You see my friend this **** ain't right,
now a days you can't even put up a fight.
Can't turn your back to any punk mother-******,
they'll put you away right into the slammer.
Always there, never too far away,
are the hidden agenda's being portrayed.
Why make things harder than it has to be,
having to keep up with all this hypocrisy.
Life's so much easier when truth be told,
no one gets hurt while it all unfolds.
Trying to keep away those who constantly betray,
we find ourselves unware lost and affraid.
