I never should have trusted you,
I would have walked away.
If only I knew,
That one day you'd be gone,
And leave me here.
I was wrong about you.
You're the same as all the rest.
You aren't the person I thought you were,
But if you would have asked me last year,
I would've said I was sure.
That you'd always be there,
To help me when I'm down.
Your promise is broken,
But deep down I'm still hoping.
So don't be surprised when I'm gone,
Probably won't be long.
You broke yours,
I'll break mine.
Don't worry about me,
I'll be fine.

There seems to be a lot of that going around. I understand the anger and the pain in here. You've said an awful lot in a very elegant way. Great job.
