The ant hill is alive with movement
Soldiers marching, single file
Survival is the lasting purpose
The never-ending, gruelling trial
An insignificant microcosm
Specks of life shrunk out of view
A forgettable addition to creation
Could these ants be me and you?

Nice poem. Very easy to read, flowed nicely. I liked some of the phrasing especially the second and third lines of the second stanza. I think I will go and look at some of your other stuff. |

A captivating and interesting write. I like your last line. Quite compelling.
I find it an immensely intriguing happenstance to have read this and
know that besides man, ants are the only animals that wage war.
Good post!
