Everyone says “I hate Iraq.”
Everyone says “I hate Saddam.
They should send him over here.
I’d kill him like he deserves to die.”
Nobody deserves to die.
Everyone shoots their guns into the air
And they never even care
Where the bullets fall.
My dog got hit last night by a falling bullet.
He’s dead now. The first American casualty.
Constitution what? While you choke on your freedom fries.
We fight in the name of democracy
And hate the French. The French should come over here too.
I’d also kill them like they deserve to die.
The French must have blew up the twin towers.
They oppose the war, after all. What more proof do you need?
The sheen of the mustard gas in the atmosphere
Belittles even the great aurora borealis.
The ground is covered in streptococcus.
I bet you didn’t think to vaccinate against that.
Don’t be scared though. We’ll kill him.
We’ll put his body on public display too.
The you can all decimate his remains.
And then after we’re done with Chirac,
We’ll bury him in some rat hole
And go after the terrorists.
It’s sick… all the racism spawning up every which where.
All because someone dares to challenge the American notion
That we are superior to all other races, nationalities, and cultures.
Wrap yourselves in your flags. Go into battle.
Laugh as the bullets pass right through the cloth.
It’s funny how it’s not immune to destruction.
Isn’t it?
It’s funny how we never learn.
Isn’t it?

Ahh.... back to Jaime Philosophy #1. It's a big pendulum we're living in. Noticed that too? This is a good poem.... I wish Bush would read it...
"It's funny how we never learn, isn't it?"
