One of these days you’ll wake up
And life will feel brand new.
Your pain will finally leave you,
Your suffering will be through.
Just around the corner,
Is another, brighter day.
I shall see your smile returning.
I’ll rejoice with you that day.
And as I stood beside you,
And suffered right along,
Especially then I’ll join you,
As your heart sings its’ new song.
I ‘ll stretch out my hand to raise you,
From the floor of deep despair.
And we’ll live together blissfully,
When that day is finally here!
