Depression, the cry of a hurting soul,
The life of a miserable soul,
The cry of a soul lost in this world,
The cry of misery and pain,
When will people understand
Those words can cut as sharply as any blade,
And that those cuts leave scars upon a soul,
They try to laugh about it,
Cover it all up with lies.
They try to laugh about it,
Hiding the tears in there eyes.
When will people understand
Those words can cut as sharply as any blade,
And that those cuts leave scars upon a soul,
They will smile like nothings wrong,
But there slowly dying inside,
Everything seems swell,
But are they really,
When will people understand
Those words can cut as sharply as any blade,
And that those cuts leave scars upon a soul,
There are no tears,
No feeling of guilt,
Nowhere to channel the anger,
Nowhere to leave the pain,

I can totally relate to this. No one seems to understand that people who are depressed need support and not made fun of. I am suffering from depression myself and though it never happened to me, I am sick of these people calling depressed people "Emo' and telling them to go kill themselves. It makes me sick that this world can be so Damn cruel
Great write!
