There is beauty in the breakdown,
There is bittersweet glory in the abyss,
Buried six feet underground,
Oh, where is the bliss?
A wanderer at a loss,
Questioning all she ever believed,
Counting the distance she had crossed,
Longing for the people she had grieved.
A long, endless drought,
Stretching across an empty, barren land,
She can't help her darkened thoughts,
Feeling stillness in her cold hand.
All alone in a desert with the cruel sand,
Waiting for help to come,
Drowning, drowning without a plan,
With nothing left but kingdom come
