How could I ever ask you for your heart
Or let you know just what it is I see?
For such a task is clearly far too hard
And clearly far too hard for one like me.
Yet somehow I still feel that I should try,
'Cause if I don't what chances do I have?
And if I have no chances how can I
Continue walking on this beaten path?
I must admit that love has kept at bay;
And romance doesn't care to be my friend
But still I have so many things to say.
So many things I fear could bring an end.
I wish you knew how sweet I think you are.
But somehow you just always seem so far.

hmm maybe it's not ur favorite because of the quagmire/predicament involved, but i enjoyed it esp. becuz i can really relate to it. also, nice execution to the sonnet form, it's hard to do that. a fine job u've done. take care.
