You and me, we use to be twins
I think we’re separated from birth.
Cause we got the same names and we go the same chins
And I’m sure, we share the same worth.
And we both seem to dance just to lay down our feet,
And both like to play chance when we’re out on the street,
So I say, you and me, we use to be twins
I think we’re separated from birth.
Then one day we met at an Arkansas Bar
Picking up woman and fighting our fathers.
We both put a bet on Quick Draw McGraw
But came out penniless sinners.
You and me, we use to be twins,
I think we’re separated from birth.
Cause we got the same soul that’s a burdensome hole
And it burns like the meat of the Earth.
