Unsettled

Contributed by karoody on Friday, 31st October 2008 @ 09:04:59 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

I lie here with questions in my head
Things to give up or things to keep
People are going to hurt
My heart in chains either way
They'll point fingers
Judgement will be passed
If I walk away from here
I'll appear selfish
Some will call me thankless
Perhaps it will be true
But why does that make me bad?
Amidst all the talk
Will they care at all
About the restless soul
That didn't want to have to choose?

there are those who we can never please for their souls are festering in their own rot...sometimes we have to just follow our own heart and quit trying to please others

People will be people some don't know how to act you should forget the people that point at you their all wrong only thing that matters is what you think.
and there are some who care

It is important to live life to its fullest, fulfilling your own destiny, chasing your own dreams, and becoming who you are meant to be. But if you live your life constantly chained to the thoughts of other people, then it's like clipping your wings...and you'll never be able to fly. There will always be people who will point at you, judge you, and talk about you, but they are only people and absolutely no one is perfect. We all, regardless of who we are, are only human and there are those of us who are miserable and love for other people to feel the same. There comes a point when you just have to let people talk and separate yourself from their ignorance because you have to get to the destiny that awaits you and achieve the right and positive things in your life. I enjoyed reading your poem.

One day your chains will be broken and you will be set free....
No one can take your dreams from you.....
Beautifully penned...

Sometimes those in a tough situation need NEED to do what is best for themselves. Before we can worry about what other people think or need, we must ourselves be in a place to grow, heal and bloom...then, then we are better able to handle the rest of the world.

wow ..Kara ... this piece touched me deeply, makes me want to reach out and pull you in. This was an excellent poem. ~Bin~ uses some of the left over fairy dust on kara... May the weight of life be lifted off ur soul.
PS Remember this dust isn't cheap!

This in my opinion is an awesome poem. Yes, it did get your thoughts out on paper. A poet's own personal therapy. This poem is what I noticed about you right away; your strength. You've got the questions, now you have the answers, now you have the strength to make your choices, those moves.

Ebar hugs ! ! ! !

Love,

Tim
